This bill was created to address a communication issue during a water service disruption event in the 51st District last year. This bill allows homeowner's to be contacted during a water supply disruption emergency to properly communicate with residents in a timely manner

Codifies into law that, upon request of a sanitary district, water utilities must provide reliable and timely water usage date to sanitary districts so that they can properly prepare their billings.
