Solar Energy Town Hall

Join our office and the Illinois Solar Education Association for a Solar Energy Town Hall!

WHERE: Palatine Village Hall; 200 E Wood St., Meeting Room B

WHEN: September 19th, 6:00 - 7:30 PM

Learn about the significant clean energy opportunities for homes and business in Illinois afforded by the passage of the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act passed in 2021. Attendees will hear how installing solar will save money on your electric bill, as well as learn about the environmental benefits of supporting clean energy.

ISEA Solar Ambassador Peter Gorr will walk through the process of going solar, and answer any questions you may have. Peter decided to go solar because he felt a strong responsibility to his children and grandchildren to change the parts of his lifestyle that contribute to climate change. Besides the environmental benefits of going solar, Peter was also motivated by the economic benefits of solar.

You will learn:
-How solar energy works, including information about the installation process and what to do if your home is not suitable for solar
-The upfront costs and long-terms savings, including current financial incentives in Illinois
-Where to find resources to help you along the way

Join us to learn how you, too, can start your solar journey!
